Let us introduce to you our meditation pillow, or better known as Zafu – Pink, Forest that belongs to our sustainable and eco-friendly Yoga Accessories collection.

We love to be a part of the solution to reduce textile waste while developing your Yoga Practice. Let our Zafu – Pink, Forest sustain and uplift you during your meditation practice, knowing that what is supporting you is an artisanal product made with respect of people and environment.

For the filling we decided to use spelt instead of cotton, so that the cushion adapts better to the shape of the body – making it more comfortable and not hardening over time.

As we use a combination of natural fabrics and rescued one, no two cushions are ever exactly alike.

 

It’s composed by 3 layers:

– External cover 100% pre-loved (Vintage) orange-salmon cotton handprinted in black with Block Printing – pattern: Lotus Flower – easy closable with a zipper.
– Internal Cover 100% pre-loved (Vintage) cotton with floral patterns and blue/brown and white tonality
–Internal filling 100% organic spelt skins produced in Switzerland.

Side handle for easy carrying.

It comes with a practical handmade vintage bag, to carry your Zafu everywhere.

 

Our Love for Vintage

 

We consider Vintage Fabrics not only a left over ready to be throw away but something “pre-loved”.Someone in the past loved and took a good care of that piece of item for a very long time until it arrived in our hands – ready to be loved again.

We choose high- quality Vintage Fabrics that we carefully wash and clean before re-using it, so that we can offer a safe and neutral scented product.

We will dispatch it with a medium sazie package with sustainable filling to protect it during the travel.

Photo shows colors and textures of this colorway, but your cushion may be a bit different in terms of exact fabric shapes and geometry. We hope you love the variations as much as we do!

We transform Vintage fabrics in something else, as our key word is transformation.

Where do we take inspiration from? Mother Nature of course, our mamma. Waste in nature doesn’t exist, everything is recycled.

For our production we start from an existing “pre-loved” piece of fabric and dive it a second life. Block Printing Technique allows us to create unique and handmade design print patterns for each item we want to produce.
