The work with the Breath is extremely transformative. Breathing techniques are a powerful tool for self-regulation both in moments of stress and when we need more energy and vitality.
In these sessions we will work with both Pranayama and natural breath work.
Pranayama is the fourth limbo in Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga system and the definition with which “Corpo Giardino” feels more aligned is:
Pranayama is the regulation, control and extension of the Breath, in order to create more space (in our body, mind, heart and spirit) so that Prana (our life force) can move more freely.
Learning how to regulate our energy means deeply listening to our needs and respect them.
An example of Pranayama is Ujjayi Breath, click here to begin your practice!
The Breath Work (with natural breath) on the other hand, is inspired by the decade-long work of Donna Fahri, a world-famous therapist and yoga teacher with an inspiring breath research.
